| Our first experience in the construction
sector started in 1953 in Bahçelievler in Ankara.
Some edifices erected at the time are still intact. All
kinds of work in the buildings was done by themselves.
These works of construction were carried out by multiple
partners before. Then, later on, they parted from each
other to work independently. It was in 1960 that their
surname 'Yazýcý' was brought to the fore
to be utilized as the name of the company. Naming itself
"Yazýcý Otel. Tur. Ýþl.
Aþ.", this family company placed itself in
the hotel sector officially in 16.6.1988. This is a family
company set up by 5 persons who were Hasan Yazýcý,
Yusuf Yazýcý, Osman Yazýcý,
Kadir Yazýcý and Süleyman Yazýcý.
The company now owns as well as runs a 3 star hotel in
Büklüm sok. (street) No. 13.
Following the death of Hasan Yazýcý,
one of his inheritors, Emine Yazýcý also
joined the company.
Hasan Yazýcý was born in Trabzon in 1934.
He had 4 children. He graduated from the primary school
'from the outside'. He memorized the whole Quran when
he was only 10 years old. He began his life of working
and being away from his hometown by working as an assistant
of the Imams in the village mosques. During this time
he also started to work as a mason, building walls along
with adults. Later in 1953, he started to work as a
skilled mason in Ankara. Here, he got to know molding
and works concerning iron. In the following 15 years
he worked as a building contractor together with his
brothers and some of his fellow villagers. After 1968,
in different places in Ankara, he had roughly 90 edifices
built. Around 1500 residence and 100 places of employment
were got to be built by him. He passed away in 1993.
Yusuf Yazýcý was born in Trabzon in
1954. He is married with six children. He studied primary,
junior high, and high schools in Ankara. He started
working in 1977. His experience of building contractor
started with his father. He has got 25 years of experience
in the construction sector. Now he is the general coordinator
of this company and the buildings. He is still in the
construction sector.
Osman Yazýcý was born in Trabzon in
1966. He is married with 4 children. He studied primary
and junior high schools in Ankara. He started his career
in 1982 as a director and sales manager in the company
of "Karadeniz Tic. Aþ." He worked here
for 13 years. Because of the traffic in the construction
sector he has been working as importation and distribution
manager in our construction sites.
Kadir Yazýcý was born in Trabzon in 1964.
He is married with 3 children. He studied primary, junior
high and high schools in Ankara. He started working
as a salesperson in "Karadeniz Tic. Aþ."
He was appointed manager in the company in 1981. In
1983 he left the company to study at the university.
He graduated from the Construction Engineering faculty
of the University of Akdeniz in 1988. For 16 years he
has been responsible for the technical and constructional
aspects of the buildings erected since then.
Süleyman Yazýcý was born in Trabzon
in 1966. He is married with four children. He studied
primary, junior high, and high schools in Ankara. He
graduated from University of Hacettepe Department of
Statistics in 1993. In 1991 he took over the responsibility
for inspection and importation affairs of Seðmen
Hotel, which is owned by Yazýcý Otel Turz.
Ýþl. Aþ, all the while studying at
the university. He did this job for 7 years. Since 1998,
he has been working as the General Coordinator and Sales
manager of the buildings, which Yazýcýoðlu
Family has erected.
